Wedding videographer in Switzerland – destination weddings on Lake Lugano

For me, Morcote and Lake Lugano are among the most extraordinary settings for a wedding in Switzerland. Mediterranean flair, historic lanes, elegant villas and the breathtaking landscape of Ticino create an atmosphere that almost recalls Lake Como — yet has a character entirely its own.

As a wedding videographer, I film weddings in Morcote, Lugano, Ticino and all across Switzerland. These are not formulaic wedding videos, but personal, cinematic films that bring together the mood of the day, genuine emotion and the unique surroundings.

Whether it's an intimate destination wedding on Lake Lugano, an elegant celebration at a villa or a wedding overlooking the Swiss Alps — my goal is a wedding film that feels just as special years later as the day itself.

Wedding in Morcote on Lake Lugano

A wedding in Morcote combines Mediterranean flair with the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Lugano. Among historic lanes, palm trees and the mountains of Ticino, an emotional wedding film came to life, full of natural moments and a very special atmosphere. Its unique waterside location makes Morcote a dream wedding venue for couples who want to celebrate their destination wedding in Switzerland with style and a personal touch.

Wedding locations in Switzerland

From Ticino to the Alps — Switzerland packs remarkably different settings into a small country.

Morcote & Lake Lugano

A village of arcades, palm trees and villas right on the water. One of my wedding films was made here — Mediterranean flair in the heart of Switzerland.

Lugano & Ticino

Lakeside promenades, historic hotels and vineyards: Ticino combines Italian ease with the calm of the mountains.

Ascona & Lake Maggiore

On the northern shore of Lake Maggiore, Ascona and Locarno are among the sunniest places in Switzerland — ideal for a wedding by the water.

Lake Zurich

Elegant lakeshores, villas and wineries, easy to reach for guests from all over Europe.

Bernese Oberland

Lake Thun, Lake Brienz and the Alps around Interlaken — for couples who want mountains and crystal-clear water in their film.

Lake Geneva

The terraced vineyards of Lavaux, lakeside châteaux and views of the Alps: the French-speaking side of Switzerland.

In the words of couples who trusted me with the memories of their most important day.

Planning a wedding in Switzerland: your questions

Answers to the most common questions about booking, the process, travel and delivery.

Yes. I've already filmed on Lake Lugano, and I cover weddings in every part of Switzerland — from Ticino and the lakes of German-speaking Switzerland to the Alps.

In principle, yes. A civil wedding requires a preparation procedure with the civil registry office, which takes some time — the office will tell you which documents you need. That's why many couples marry legally at home and celebrate with a symbolic ceremony in Switzerland.

Lakes and mountains are at their most beautiful between May and September, and in Ticino the season often starts as early as April. In the Alps it pays to have a plan B for the weather — and those are often the moments that look most atmospheric on film.

I speak German, English and Russian. Whether your guests come from German-speaking Switzerland, Ticino or abroad, communication on the day is easy.

After a no-obligation introductory call, we reserve your date. We arrange travel and accommodation in good time so I arrive relaxed — where it makes sense, the day before, to get to know the venue and the light.
